We empower communities!
We are happy for the great support of the ambassadors and instructors who share their knowledge and time from 7 countries.
Projects we support
The projects that we support financially are chosen for the magnitude of positive impact that they can generate.
We always question:
“Is it better to deliver the fish or teach one how to fish?”
The answer is, “both are needed”, particularly in the cases of communities that do not have access to core necessitites like food or water. But beyond just supplying core necessitites, our focus in 2021 extends to projects that can generate jobs and create profitable enterprises that support their local communities.
With our movement, we raise awareness amongst social entrepreneurs who want to support their communities. Altruism is present from birth in most animals and humans. The disconnection from Altruism arises as a result of our educational structure, wherein competition is created, and we’re measured through grades and compete for the “best” position in our classes.
Our focus is to awaken your empathy, solidarity, curiosity and make the most of you as a person, allowing you to understand and question your beliefs.
Instill education in Altruism, Anti-Consumerism, Emotional Agility, and Financial Intelligence, with the aim of promoting projects that support local communities, create new jobs and provide a sustainable source of income.
To promote the interests of artisan communities and preserve their culture, we will support the development of online sales through Etsy of Latin American products (e.g., sculptures, handmade accessories, hammocks, clothing, etc.) These goods are developed by local communities and supported by social leaders involved with the Altruism Now Movement.
We will organize fundraising events, including golf tournaments, auctions and travel experiences that generate resources to support beneficial projects of social leaders involved in the movement.
Physical Retail Sales
In 2022 Altruism Now, together with its strategic allies, plans to open a physical store, wherein products from Latin American artisans will be sold. The income from the sale of these items will be donated to social organizations to encourage the conservation of these trades.
